At Utopic Gardens, we take pride in our ability to create unique and artistic outdoor environments, tailored to our clients' specific needs and desires.
Here are a few of the projects on our current agenda:
Two Custom Basalt Water Features- serve as a stunning focal point, but also contribute to a serene atmosphere in our client's garden space.
Outdoor Kitchen Area- extends the livable space and enhances our client's outdoor experience.
Mediterranean/ Drought-Resistant Garden- with a focus on sustainability, harmonizing with California's climate, all while minimizing water usage.
Conifer/ Evergreen Garden- ensures year-round greenery and elegance, for a beautiful landscape without constant upkeep.
'Utopic Reset' Progress:
The Autumn "Utopic Reset" is currently underway- our diligent task to provide one last pruning for the year.
Primarily, we're focusing on your perennials, grasses and hardy shrubs. Deciduous trees come next, after leaves have fallen.
Additionally, we're spraying and fertilizing (all natural remedies, of course) as part of our process to encourage new, healthy growth, that will thereby have more resilience against the upcoming winter chill.
After our 'Utopic Reset' visit to your garden, please keep your irrigation controller programed for daily watering, for the next few weeks. Daily watering encourages your freshly-pruned plants to bounce back quickly!
TIP: Water your garden the night before forecasted heat spells, so that plants stay hydrated!

In addition to enjoying the breathtaking, colorful Autumn foliage, be sure to also keep your eye pealed for migrating birds who may be passing through your garden over the next few months looking for water, seeds, insects, and berries! It has been tempting to remove these dried out sunflowers from my garden, planted by the birds over the summer, as they’ve been nothing much to look at for the past month, but I’m glad I resisted! This tufted titmouse has been swooping in and out, gathering black oil sunflower seeds all afternoon! |  |
